Tennis lovers looking to travel abroad and play in beautiful surroundings will have a great opportunity in 2012 with the debut of “Tennis Fantasies Israel.”

Set to take place from Sunday May 6 until Tuesday May 15, “Tennis Fantasies Israel” combines clinics, matches and sightseeing, taking men and women to such places as Tel Aviv, Galilee and Jerusalem.  In each of these spots, participants will have the opportunity to play tennis at venues run by the Israel Tennis Center and tour a variety of historic locations, museums and other places of interest.

Tennis Fantasies Israel has been created by Tennis Legend Dick Stockton, Tennis Fantasy veteran Howard Rogg, and Steve Contardi, the founder of the original Tennis Fantasy Camp – Tennis Fantasies with John Newcombe and the Legends, now in its 24th year.

Howard Rogg will be the tour leader.  His long-standing connection with Israel dates back to a teenage meeting with Israel’s first Prime Minister, David Ben Gurion.  He lived in Israel in the 1970’s and has returned frequently on Holiday, including visits to watch the Israeli Davis Cup team play.  He will share his passion and love for the country throughout the tour experience.
