Set to take place from Sunday May 6 until Tuesday May 15, “Tennis Fantasies Israel” combines clinics, matches and sightseeing, taking men and women to such places as Tel Aviv, Galilee and Jerusalem. In each of these spots, participants will have the opportunity to play tennis at venues run by the Israel Tennis Center and tour a variety of historic locations, museums and other places of interest. For 35 years, the Israel Tennis Center, a non-profit organization, has worked to enhance the social, psychological and physical development of ALL Israeli youth through the game of tennis. The Israel Tennis Center caters to 21,000 children every week. Most of our 14 Centers across Israel are located in disadvantaged neighborhoods or outlying development towns, from Kiryat Shmona on the Lebanese border in the North, to Beer Sheva bordering the Negav Desert in the South. Our mission is to provide a healthy and structured environment for children and youth from all walks of life, to learn the value of cooperation, self-reliance and persistence. |
